A Montreal Canadien Inspires the Minor Peewee Selects to Playoff Victory!
Mar 07-2017 - Former Montreal Canadien, Greg Stewart (and former Oiler), paid our Minor Peewee Select Sharks a visit at their playoff game against Amesbury at Downsview Arena and told the kids his story. How he started playing at age 10, made the Select All Star team and went on to play for the most iconic franchise in the NHL shortly thereafter! Greg told the team that his best “memory” was the first time he suited up for the Habs. He was nervous but every teammate was there to do their job for the team first, no matter the role, score, check, defend, just play your part!   Greg’s story inspired the Sharks team to overcome the odds and they won their first game of the playoffs! Thanks to the parents for standing by the team, the Sharks for playing for each other and Greg for his inspiration. GO SHARKS GO!
