Wednesday, January 21 American Cup Champions / Lake Placid, New York HUMBER VALLEY SHARKS MINOR PEEWEE "A" TEAM BRINGS HOME ALL THE GOLD Congratulations to the boys for their victory this past weekend in the American Cup Tournament at the Olympic Centre, LAKE PLACID. The Humber Valley Sharks beat the "AA" New England Moose 3-1 with an outstanding performance by goaltender Geoff Kosmala in the final game. The Moose have won 3 of their last 4 tournaments this season. The three goals were scored by team members: Chris Young(C), Conor Eustace(A), & Cam DeSilva. This fast physical tournament was an eye opener for most of the players and the Sharks clearly demonstrated that they were the most talented group on and off the ice. Also, it's important to note that this impressive victory wouldn't have been possible without the full determination & unselfish play of all our boys. (Teamwork says it all.) Many thanks to Toby and all the coaching staff. Execellent job! Once again, special thanks to Kelly Tobiason for organizing a First Class Tournament in Lake Placid, NEW YORK. Another fun filled time away for the boy's and their families. Can't wait for the next one!
